William's Grove 65th Annual Steam Show | 30+ Live Steam Engines and More!!

On September 2nd, 2023, I made a visit to the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association in order to check out the events of their 65th Annual Steam Show. Being an important anniversary, the turnout of steam engines did not disappoint, with approximately 50 present, and over 30 of them were fired up for the day's events!!

In this video, we will start with a look at some of the steam traction engines that were present at the show, including their use on applications such as a sawmill and dynamometer. We'll then check out the association's stationary steam engines that were operating, and catch the 12:00pm whistle sound off. Then, we will check out a visiting steam calliope, and participate in the PRR 1361 whistle-blow event. Lastly, we'll watch a parade of all the live steam engines, and catch a spark show after night has set in.
