Displaying JSON API Data using C# and Data Transfer Object (DTO)

Let me demonstrate how to access a Web API using C#.

The JSON Output has 3 fields - "version" number, date "added", and "age" in days.

Using visual studio, I created a button to invoke the API Call.

It accesses the same API you just saw. I used Newtonsoft JSON de-serialize my Version DTO.

When I run the program and hit "Show Version" button, it displays the Version Text!
