Based on the folk song "I Bröllopsgården" by August Söderman, I tried to translate its traditional arrangement for four voices into something that could be played by an orchestra. This was the result of day 3 - expanding my skills and discoveries. The French horn and the piano finally got something to do, the percussion part has been expanded (though listening to it again and again, I feel the glockenspiel is a bit overdone now), and for the rest I've mainly been tinkering with the middle part. But it's getting tricky finding melodies for everyone without simply duplicating what other instruments are already playing.
Anyway, it's not finished yet, so... to be continued!
