Elbphilharmonie Hamburg — Architecture and Skyline Views

Walk with me through the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg — one of the most iconic contemporary concert halls in the world.
Designed by Herzog & de Meuron on top of the historic Kaispeicher A warehouse, the building combines architecture, acoustics and urban landscape in a powerful way.

In this video, we look at:
– the relationship with the River Elbe and Hamburg harbour
– the glass façade and skyline presence
– the Tube escalator and public Plaza at 37 metres
– the columned interior with parametric forms
