Video highlights the features of Austal's Auto Express 118 Trimaran (Hull 394, Bajamar Express for Fred Olsen Express) including exterior and interior footage.
Bajamar Express was designed and constructed by Austal Australia and delivered in July 2020, as part of a two-vessel contract for Fred. Olsen Express of the Canary Islands. The second, identical trimaran ferry, Banaderos Express, is under construction at Austal Philippines.
The Auto Express 118 trimaran design has capacity for 1,100 passengers and 276 cars, and is capable of travelling at speeds in excess of 40 knots.
