FINNEAS O'Connell on Recording BILLIE EILISH and more! - NAMM 2020 Talk

I'm at the NAMM show 2020 and I got the chance to see Finneas O'Connell talking about Producing, Writing and Recording Billie Eilish and about being a modern Producer and Songwriter in 2020. He told a few anectodes, talked about his preferences and mindset when producing and writing a song, and answered a few questions from the audience.

During the last year, journalist Steve Baltin has conducted multiple interviews with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter FINNEAS. Join the two of them for what is sure to be a fascinating and fun conversation on being in the center of a pop phenomenon, touring, songwriting, producing and releasing his debut EP, "Blood Harmony."

I recorded the whole thing with my camera and I hope you find it interesting! Unfortunately I missed the first few minutes cause I was still standing in line outside (limited seats, lots of people) even though I got there half an hour early. Also I just had my handheld camera so I'm sorry about camera movements and background noise! Even though production value is not great on this one I hope you can enjoy the content and ideas - I thought the whole talk was great!
