INSTRUCTING AT THE NEWEST PIPE WELDING SCHOOL (STUDENTS WELD THE FIRST DAY)

I’m Austin Ross a pipeline welder and here on this channel, I like to share my experience to try and save you some time and money along the way. In this video, I go to Western Welding Academy a new pipe welding school to check it out and be a guest instructor for a week. I started in trade school and didn’t know there was a pipeline welding school in fact, most of them are new and focus on pipe welding and pipe welding certification. I like that they focus on all types of pipe welding compared to just pipeline welding because ultimately that will keep graduates in jobs for longer periods of time. No, you don’t need school to be a pipeline welder, but I’ve always said be a welder first and work your way into pipeline welding if that is your goal.
