First week of Christmas - Putting up the tree, visiting Burley Manor and Swanage (Dorset, England)

December was always going to busy and the first week was certainly that.

Faye and I went to pick up our Christmas Tree which was kindly gifted to us on behalf of BH Christmas Trees in return for a review and social media coverage. That same day we then then headed over to the beautiful 'Burley Manor' which is set in The New Forest. Faye was kindly invited (along with a plus one... me) to try their 'Festive Afternoon Tea' in return for an experience (location and food) review. We had a lovely time, even if I did make a bit of a mess!

Next we head over to Swanage (Dorset coast) to check out the Swanage Christmas Market and all the shops full of festive treats. It was absolutely freezing but we had a lovely time and it certainly got us even more into the festive spirit.

After Swanage, we headed to one of our favourite pub/restaurants, 'The Greyhound Inn', located in the village of Corfe Caste. The village is chocolate box English countryside and on a winters afternoon was ridiculously cosy. We enjoyed some lunch by the fire in the pub before heading home to finish the first week of December excited for the Christmas build up.
