Spoleto is located just over 1 hour from Rome by train & makes one of the best day trips or overnight trip. Sometimes Rome can get very expensive to find affordable hotels on the weekend, making Spoleto a great alternative with plenty of affordable places to stay.. This video shows a little about Spoleto but there is so much more to the city that is not captured. Spoleto is under touristed and overlooked and deserves much more attention. A great town to visit and you will not be disappointed. Plus there are lots of good restaurants and pizzarias. Spoleto is my top pick for day trip from Rome!
