Located across the picturesque Umiam, this resort is spread over 45 acres and is a perfect getaway to experience luxury stay and authentic Khasi hospitality. Their architecture is inspired by the original Khasi thatch huts, and they offer three differently designed stay options.

We stayed in their Lake View cottage, and our favorite parts of this suite were the beautiful views from the balcony, the reading nook with a heater upstairs, and the wonderful fireplace.

Things to do at this property:

Enjoy panoramic views of the lake, hills, and forest from the balcony of the cottage.
Relish flavorful Northeastern as well as Continental delicacies at their Dining Area.
Pick up souvenirs from the Resort Emporium, which showcases crafts and textiles from around the Northeast.
Experience a rejuvenating traditional Khasi massage or aqua therapy at their in-house spa.
Take part in the resort's forest walk that leads to the lake for a much-relaxed trekking experience.

We totally recommend this stay as we savoured every moment while we were at this property.
