Replacing the primary battery in a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS 550 (W218) 4-matic.
Tools needed:
-10mm socket to remove terminal connectors.
-13mm socket with extension (need 4" or longer) with impact drill to knock loose the bolt.
-Bid muscles to lift the 60lb batteries out and in.
Battery replacement: Diehard AGM - H8
It took me 10 minutes and I was holding a phone recording the process. Overall, very easy.
Exhaust modifications: Removed the primary cylindrical resonators and the secondary cross-pipe resonator. Factory exhaust and cats still in place. Great rumble and occasional crackle without the drone.
