On today's episode, we are restoring a WWII Czechoslovakian Signal Flashlight. This were used in the field by the common soldiers, allowing them to communicate via morse code, or use different types of light as needed, such as red light to avoid losing their night vision. This design is quite similar to the german Wermacht issued flashlight, so my guess is that either country was using the others design and patent. Overall, the lamp wasn't in bad shape, only a bit rusty and missing a good deal of paint, but the mechanism was working perfectly, and wasn't missing any parts. I had to rig a temporary battery in order to test it, but I'll try to import the correct one soon. Enjoy!
