Family Feud (NES) Playthrough

A playthrough of GameTek's 1991 game show game for the NES, Family Feud.

In this video, I play through four episodes to win the $20,000 grand prize.

The NES had a whopping fourteen TV game show adaptations released for it in North America between 1987 and 1992. The great majority of them landed somewhere between decent and great, and they were some of the best casual-friendly/party games of the era. There is one, however, that sticks out in my mind for all the wrong reasons.

Family Feud for the NES mirrors the format of the show, but I can't help but marvel at how thoroughly Beam botched this. The graphics are straight-up gross, the music is offensively bad, the questions are poorly written, and the parser regularly fails to recognize correct answers. It's a total chore to play, and the color palette makes me think of Tubgirl.

I don't like this game.
