For this animation, I decided to use it as a learning experience. I experimented with more movement, backgrounds, and a super small amount of perspective. Despite the more-than-usual grueling process, I had a lot of fun making this!

I find that this song fits the British Empire perfectly, at least in the way I see him. I don’t know how to explain my British Empire’s personality very well, but I imagine him to be very confident and bold— someone who has no fear due to his massive amount of success. At times, he’s a little bit too confident, but he always knows when to lock in and when to win the war.

0:04 I imagine that the British Empire had grown up in the Medieval Times, where many lived a dangerous, violent, and unstable life. Here, the British Empire learned how to fight, survive, and take.

0:11 I purposely made the peasant the British Empire executes look similar to Thirteen Colonies. Along with showing off in front of his colonies, the British Empire is also trying to intimidate them into staying in line.

0:19 England and Scotland are basically the British Empire’s wingmen, but can only be seen and heard by him. I’ll explain this HC more in the future, but all the countries making up the British Empire (and later the United Kingdom) are just chilling inside his head.
