Anemone, by Brian Jonestown Massacre. An absolute cult indie classic, and one of our favourite ever tunes. Jimmy and Myles Mesmeriser linked up to perform this version of the BJM masterpiece.
Yes the tambo is overdubbed... it is such an essential part of the tune and we coudln't pull it together on the day to have anyone shakin metal so sorry Kyle for putting an overdub over your mix! hahah. Its just not this song with out it. NO we were not sponsored by Fender we just wish we were.. and have the same little amps.
Thanks to Myles for jamming out and most importantly thanks to BJM for forever inspiring us with your incredible art. The original recording of this tune is like a historic painting, hopefully we have not left it in ruins!
