Do you really need a Fuji X100?

I think I’ve accidentally given my Micro Four Thirds cameras an identity crisis…
In this video I take a look at two setups I already owned — my Panasonic GX80 with a 14mm lens and my Panasonic GX1 with a 20mm lens — and realise they’re basically doing impressions of a Fuji X100 and a Ricoh GR IIIx.
Not deliberately. Not thoughtfully. Just… somehow.
This isn’t a review, and I’m not saying these MFT setups replace the real things — but they definitely scratch the same creative itch. Compact, simple, fixed-lens shooting fun without spending £1,400 on a new camera I probably don’t need.
If you're into Micro Four Thirds, compact cameras, or the general chaos of accidentally recreating cult cameras out of decade-old gear, you’ll enjoy this one.
Cameras mentioned:
• Panasonic GX80
• Panasonic GX1
• Panasonic 14mm f/2.5
• Panasonic 20mm f/1.7
• Fuji X100 series
• Ricoh GR IIIx
