Supreme Court Hearing On Trump Tariff : India से हटेगा टैरिफ, सुप्रीम कोर्ट में क्या हुआ? l America

US Solicitor General John Sawyer, in an appeal to the US Supreme Court, said that tariffs are essential to bring peace in Ukraine.The US administration imposed a 25 per cent tariff on India citing trade deficit and also imposed an additional 25 per cent penalty for India's continued purchase of Russian oil. With this, the total tariff on India has gone up to 50 per cent.Sawyer urged the US Supreme Court to uphold the tariffs, which were deemed illegal by a lower court. "The stakes in this case could not be more significant," the plea said, and called the tariffs "a critical aspect of our pursuit of peace" in Ukraine.In addition to supporting tariffs against India as a means to bring peace in Ukraine, the Trump administration also warned of doom if they were lifted. The administration said that lifting the tariffs would "push the United States to the brink of economic ruin".Defending the decision, the administration said the measures were promoting "peace and unprecedented economic prosperity" and also pushing countries toward new trade agreements and frameworks with Washington. "With tariffs, the United States is a rich nation; without tariffs, a poor nation," the claim said.

अमेरिकी सॉलिसिटर जनरल जॉन सॉयर ने अमेरिकी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक अपील में कहा कि यूक्रेन में शांति स्थापित करने के लिए टैरिफ बेहद ज़रूरी हैं।अमेरिकी प्रशासन ने व्यापार घाटे का हवाला देते हुए भारत पर 25 प्रतिशत टैरिफ लगाया और भारत द्वारा रूसी तेल की निरंतर खरीद के लिए 25 प्रतिशत का अतिरिक्त जुर्माना भी लगाया। इसके साथ ही, भारत पर कुल टैरिफ 50 प्रतिशत हो गया है।सॉयर ने अमेरिकी सुप्रीम कोर्ट से शुल्कों को बरकरार रखने का आग्रह किया, जिन्हें निचली अदालत ने गैरकानूनी माना था। याचिका में कहा गया है,"इस मामले में दांव इससे ज़्यादा महत्वपूर्ण नहीं हो सकता," और टैरिफ को यूक्रेन में "शांति के हमारे प्रयास का एक महत्वपूर्ण पहलू" बताया गया है।यूक्रेन में शांति स्थापित करने के एक साधन के रूप में भारत के खिलाफ टैरिफ का समर्थन करने के अलावा, ट्रम्प प्रशासन ने उन्हें हटाए जाने पर प्रलय की चेतावनी भी दी। प्रशासन ने कहा कि टैरिफ हटाने से "अमेरिका आर्थिक तबाही के कगार पर पहुँच जाएगा"।इस फैसले का विरोध करते हुए, प्रशासन ने कहा कि ये उपाय "शांति और अभूतपूर्व आर्थिक समृद्धि" को बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं और साथ ही देशों को वाशिंगटन के साथ नए व्यापार समझौतों और रूपरेखाओं की ओर भी प्रेरित कर रहे हैं।दावे में कहा गया है, "शुल्कों के साथ, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका एक समृद्ध राष्ट्र है; टैरिफ के बिना, एक गरीब राष्ट्र।"
