The "Lucus Trio" project was born from "Officina Musicale 52", a beautiful association from Basilicata, founded in Brienza in 2010 by its President, Francesco Parente. The Trio represents the meeting point between three musicians who studied in prestigious places outside of Basilicata, the region to which they return to share their expertise and musical ideas. The three members are also teachers of the "Officina Musicale 52".
The "Lucus Trio" was born with the aim of exploring the whole repertoire for this atypical ensemble. A peculiarity of the Trio is its versatili- ty: from classical to contemporary music, even enlarging the formation with the collaboration of other musicians and singers, sometimes exploring unusual genres. Prestigious living composers composed pieces specifically for the Trio. The Trio boasts a large number of perfor- mances in artistic events and music festivals. Currently, the Trio is working on an important project for a prestigious label.
