She is a Mexican actress, singer, and fashion designer, born Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda on August 26, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico and famously know for her screen name Thalia.
Since her debut she has numerous masterpieces as her album topping the Billboard Latin chart, winning the Best Album Award, showing her outstanding talent in the field of music, that she sings in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Tagalog.
Her TV series Marimar was a phenomenal hit in the Philippines, which was followed by Maria Mercedes, Marial Del Barrio and Rosalinda and she was name the Queen of Soap Opera.
She visits the Philippines on 1996 to meet her Filipino fans and held a concert, attended by thousands of people. She also studies to learn basic Tagalog and sings songs in Tagalog that made her love by her Filipino fans even more.
