The Baltic states are readying themselves for potential war with Russia under Vladimir Putin.

The Baltic states are the "most militarily exposed" members of Nato to Putin's Russia.

If Putin were to seek to further his military aggression from Ukraine on to more European states - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and Poland would be Nato's front line.

The Times Berlin bureau chief, Oliver Moody, who has written the book 'Baltics: The Future of Europe', speaks to Andrew Marr about the key role the Baltics have to play in Europe's future.
