VDS Unboxing // Complete Nomad (Standard & Passport TNs)

Super excited for my two new VDS covers. Petra and the entire Van Der Spek team are amazing and I love that you can create a fully custom planner with them to make your planner dreams come true.

Complete Nomad – Standard TN Size
• JL Undyed (inside & out) – leather and stitching
• No stiffner, No foam; bontex frame only
• Widened 6mm each size (to accommodate tabs and thicker notebooks)*
• Converted right secretarial pocket to a slip pocket
• Chunky A4 clasp
• Extra Popper (female) on Front Cover
• Lengthened Clasp by 12mm
• Small D-Ring on the left side, bottom of the elastics (for adding a charm to my cover)
• Extra Pen Loop
• Widened both pen loops to 12 mm
• Raise both pen loops to 25% from top (instead of the 50% from the top default placement)
• Brown tag & gold hardware
*this is the only thing I might have done differently – I need to see how the setup looks and feels but part of me thinks maybe I should have left it slimmer but we’ll see. It’s not a big amount so not a huge deal 😊

Complete Nomad – Passport TN Size
• Nubuck Terre (inside and outside)
• JL Iris/TM Lavender stitching
• No stiffener, No foam; full bontex sheet
• Swapped left and right size pockets
• Moved pen loop to left side & raised to 25% from top
• Small D-Ring on the left side, bottom of the elastics (for adding a charm to my cover)
• Widen pen loop to 14mm
• Black tag & silver hardware (this was done wrong but it’s not a big deal – definitely not worth reaching out to them)
