Had an idea for hollow cavities from solid. So back in 2020, when I had some extra time on my hands, I had Fusion360 and my Pocket NC V1 duke it out. In the end, with a bunch playin around and some hand code mods, I got a hollow with a surface finish you would expect from a 30 lb machine and tools with long L/D. I know sounds like excuses, but I was just tinkering. It was a fun programming and machining experiment pushing the boundaries in my home shop. Fun little trip into the archives…
