3D Machine control transition cuts project delivery time for Shannonside Civil Engineering Ltd
Peter Haddock goes onsite with Shannonside to find out about its technology journey with Leica Geosystems, supported by Wayne Stevens of OnGrade Machine Control.
We see its mixed fleet in action using 3D machine control, including a Komatsu Europe dozer, Hitachi Construction Machinery UK and CASE Construction Equipment excavators.
Wayne also explains how OnGrade's large rental fleet of Leica Geosystems machine control systems and surveying equipment is being used with 3D enabled machines to support projects large and small.
Peter also talks to Shannonside site manager Stephen Nee, who explains how using machine control will reduce the time to deliver a major project by up to 6 months.
