📍 About Dhyan Badri: Located near Kalpeshwar Mahadev in the scenic Urgam Valley (Chamoli district), this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Legend says Urvarishi (son of King Puranjaya) meditated here, and pleased by his penance, Lord Vishnu appeared in the Dhyan Mudra (meditative pose). The idol is a stunning black stone deity with four arms.

🚗 How to Reach:

Route: Rishikesh ➡️ Devprayag ➡️ Rudraprayag ➡️ Karnaprayag ➡️ Helang.

The Turn: From Helang (near Joshimath), take the cut towards Urgam Village (approx. 12-15 km drive).

Trek: A short, beautiful walk through the fields from the roadhead.
