“Ride into the Sunset” was originally considered as the closing song for the band’s recent album Dystopia, Pt 2. It tells the story of a man disillusioned with the world around him, longing to break free and fade into the sunset, much like the iconic endings of classic western films. In the end, another piece was chosen to wrap up the Dystopia narrative, and this song was left on the shelf for nearly 2 years. Now it finally sees the light of day, carrying with it that cinematic sense of escape and finality.
