Depending on the thickness of the shoes You will need 2 1/2" or 3" Rods.
Left-hand to right-hand male thread adapter 1/4"-20 thread 2 1/2"long. McMaster-Carr # 94455A116
Left-hand to right-hand male thread adapter 1/4"-20 thread 3" long. McMaster-Carr # 94455A120
Roller--
Slotted unthreaded spacer 21/64 OD 1/2" long. McMaster Carr # 93441A215
Sholder screw--
Alloy steel shoulder screw 1/4" length 10-24 thread. McMaster-Carr # 91259A533
Left-hand tap--
Left-hand general purpose tap 1/4"-20 thread. McMaster-Carr # 2584A249
Screws--
18-8 Stainless steel button head hex drive 10-24 thread 1-1/4" long. McMaster Carr # 92949A249
A modification I made to my 7.5 inch Titan train trucks brake adjusters.
I have been using these adjusters several years and have proven to work great and are easy to adjust on or off the cars.
