So this video is dedicated to every one of us Wemma shippers who were completely and utterly disappointed with last night's episode. I mean come on. I don't even care that they didn't get married as much as I'm upset that Will & Emma didn't even have like 1 real scene together in the episode!! :P I was expecting some Wemma love for Valentine's Day and instead... just err. Also, I really was expecting Will & Emma to actually get married. I was planning to use this song for Wemma once they were actually married. I had to make my entry for Miro0oMariam's "Editing Contest" (EC) Round 2:

by today (Friday, February 15th) at the latest, and then I realized the hyped "Wemma wedding episode", where I assumed they'd actually get married, I mean the title is "I Do" after all... would air the day before that deadline, Thursday the 14th... so I thought it all worked out perfectly!

I made it through the audition round of this contest using my Quinn Fabray "Slow Down" vid:

And I passed through round 1 (theme - cookie cutter editing) with my Lorelai Gilmore "Domino" vid:

So now, the theme for this current round of the contest (round 2) was that we had to do "parallels" - so like show 2 similar scenes back to back kind of a thing. Like at 0:52 I show Emma looking at a photo of Will (in the yearbook) in the pilot and I think that is a parallel to the next scene, the one at 0:54 of Will looking at photographs of Emma on his phone from the newest episode. Etc. I thought this song would work well for parallels and compared to all of the many things I could've done for this contest - and I had a lot of ideas (like I even seriously considered paralleling the Joan & her parents family relationship on the show Joan of Arcadia to Julie & her parents on Friday Night Lights) - but I know Will & Emma's scenes well enough and thought I could parallel enough of them that I could make this work.

I started the vid on Tuesday, expecting to finish it today using cute, loving moments that could be paralleled from the new episode with old moments. I almost didn't finish this vid after the wedding episode was SUCH a let down. But I didn't think I could make any other parallel vid in time for this contest's deadline. And I figure all of the Wemma shippers here on YouTube would appreciate a nice fanvideo tribute to them after the disappointment that was the new episode anyway. :P I really hope you all enjoy this!! :D

I don't care that much about making it through to round 3 of Miro0oMariam's contest. I made a video I'm proud of, and tried my best, and that's all that matters. I know that I'm up against some REALLY stiff competition - some people's parallel videos I think really showcase parallels better than my vid here. So I'll understand if I don't pass this round. :P But just the same, I did get a lot of great parallels in here, I think. I did try pretty hard.

Anyway I'll stop rambling now. Please just enjoy the video!! And leave me a comment if you can. I'd really appreciate finding out what you think of my parallels my lyric matching, my editing, etc. :D
