Sea Box Bracelet - DIY Jewelry Making Tutorial by PotomacBeads

Create this simple Sea Box Bracelet using the materials in your May Best Bead Box Treasure Edition or go through your beading supplies and find alternative 2mm pearls, 4mm bicone crystals, and 6mm gemstones to create this elegant design. The pattern in this design is easily adaptable to a variety of bead sizes and can be made into a bracelet, necklace or matching earrings.

Create this right angle weave-based design with ANY size of beads. Create the design easily with size 8 seed beads and 4mm, 6mm or 8mm round beads.

1. Thread a needle with 5 feet of DragonThread and add a stop bead onto the end. String four of your 8mm beads with an 8/0 seed bead after each. Bring them into a box shape by sewing back through the first three 8mm beads and the seed beads between them.

2. Next, when exiting one of the 8mm beads, add on three 2mm pearls to your needle, sew through the next 8mm bead, and continue. Watch the Sea Box Bracelet video to continue building the boxes as well as learning the connection points between each component.

3. After finishing your design, remove the stop bead and add your clasp of choice to the ends of the project. Burn down your thread ends with a burner and wear your bracelet!
