Worn Out Suspension? | Full BMW E39 540i Suspension Rebuild

In this first installment of my BMW E39 suspension rebuild series, I'm tackling the rear end of my 2002 540i. This is a massive project!

Join me as I get started by removing the exhaust and driveshaft, then tackling the rear brakes. The biggest job of this episode is lowering the entire rear subframe as one complete unit. Once it's out of the car, I begin the disassembly process, removing all the old suspension components to get the subframe ready for a deep clean and rebuild.

This is just the beginning of making my E39 drive like new again! Stay tuned for the next video where I'll be refreshing the subframe and installing all the new parts from FCP Euro, Turner Motorsport, ECS Tuning.
