Join me, Dr. Paulina Arista, a first-year pediatric cardiology fellow, on an exciting day in the cardiology wards as I take you through my PCICU rotation. I take you on my day as a heart doctor for kids. Starting early at the hospital, I show you what precharting is and takes you through my daily tasks. See what happens in a typical surgical meeting, learn about patient care, and see how I balance my lunch break with writing patient notes. Sometimes there are surprise consultations or emergencies. You'll even get to see a special case called the Glenn Procedure. It's a full day of exciting moments in the life of a doctor. Come along and see what it's like!
