Batteries are often a divisive topic, with everyone having an opinion it can be hard to navigate. With the OEM Yusa battery in our 2015 Multistrada finally starting to weaken after an impressive 6 years, we were forced to navigate that decision as well. Having used Shorai lithium batteries before with positive results, we wanted to try them again. Supply chain issues prevented any from being available, so we ended up with another Yusa AGM battery.
The battery setup and install procedure was easy to do, and applicable to most motorcycles. What a difference a fresh battery makes! Also, if you have not already, this may be a great time to wire up an SAE cable for a battery tender.
