Practice match against Simon, first time using this version of SuperGlanti. This was my first time using this soft version, I only played it in some drills in about 30 minutes before the match. So comming from SuperGlanti original 1.2 mm it was easy to get used to this soft version.
SuperGlanti soft is very slow and that causes problems even for such an anti-experienced player as Simon. But it also causes some slow and high returns where I needed more speed and kick. Attacking empty balls and back spin is more safe than with SG original, but aggressive pushes against back spin seem to have less "kick" than SG original.
Spin reversal on blocks seem to be about the same as SG original, but the braking effect of the ball makes it harder for the opponent. Also, the ball seem to flutter more and sink more even when hitting against no spin.
Pushes against no spin or slight top spin is very good, giving a low and "skiddning" ball that seem to almost roll on the table. Very effective.
I tried to play short a few times but I need more adjustment for this to work, to keep the ball low. But I see great potential here, moving opponent in an out a lot :).
