Day 5 of revisiting Book 1 of the Van Hemert System today (a systematic approach to learning to solo in jazz and gypsy jazz, by Christiaan van Hemert). I definitely didn't spend enough time with it when I first got it. Hoping to fix that now. I also feel like I should get back to my routine of arpeggios and chord melody, but I'm having too much fun.

Modified with a microfiber towel stuffed in the body to dampen the noise for family and neighbors.
