Featuring a haunting vocal solo by Raya Yarbrough, I wrote "A Distant Sadness" for the shocking third season premiere of #BattlestarGalactica. The intense story inspired me to write lyrics drawing from my own heritage as a member of the Armenian diaspora. We opened many concerts with this live version, one that also incorporates musical elements from Season 4.
