I) Food poisoningالتسمم الغذائي
Il) Scalded skin syndrome
Ill) Toxic shock syndrome

I) Food poisoning
50% of S. aureus produced enterotoxin.
Enterotoxin is:
Heat stable, short i.p. period 1-6 hrs., Gut resistant, self limiting.
يحصل للشخص
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea without fever.

Il) Scalded skin syndrome
Exfoliative toxin (Superantigen)
Occurs in babies and young children
Generalized bullae formation then Desquamation of the skin

Il) Toxic shock syndrome (TSS toxin)
يؤثر في:
Blood vessel
ويؤدي إلى vasodilatation ثم drop in blood pressure
GIT
ويؤدي إلى vomiting & diarrhea

الفرق بين Classical Ag و Superantigen.
