Welcome to Episode 7 of my Pakistan series! 🇵🇰

It’s Day 2 in Pakistan, and I’m staying at the luxurious Nishat Hotel in Lahore. We started the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, which was an amazing experience. After that, I visited a place of immense historical and spiritual significance — Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Singh Singhnian.

🌍 I’m proud to be the first Bihari to explore Lahore, Pakistan, and share these incredible experiences with you all!

🛕 History of Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Singh Singhnian
Located in Lahore’s Naulakha Bazaar, this sacred site is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by countless Sikh men and women in the 18th century. After the martyrdom of Banda Singh Bahadur in 1716, the Mughal rulers intensified their persecution of Sikhs. Thousands were brought to this site and faced public executions for standing firm in their faith.

One of the most prominent martyrs here was Bhai Mani Singh, a revered Sikh scholar and Granthi of Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple). In 1738, he was brutally executed at this location for refusing to abandon his beliefs. His sacrifice, along with many others, has made this gurdwara a symbol of resilience and devotion.

This place holds deep historical importance for the Sikh community, and I feel honored to share its untold history with you all.
