The Green Bay Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings on New Years Eve, December 31st, 2023, 33-10 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is my POV of the game, from the stands.
U.S. Bank Stadium (capacity 66,860) is an enclosed stadium located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Built on the former site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, the indoor stadium opened in 2016 and is the home of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL); it also hosts early season college baseball games of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The Packers–Vikings rivalry is an NFL rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. CBS ranked it the #3 NFL rivalry of the 2000s.
In the modern era, the Minnesota Vikings have been the biggest NFC North challenger to the Green Bay Packers. While the Packers have won almost 75% of its games against the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions since the beginning of quarterback Brett Favre’s first season in 1992, they have only won ~50% of their games against the Vikings (going 34–29–2 in that time period).
