To the Jedi, Anakin was powerful but dangerous—a symbol of imbalance they weren’t sure what to do with. The Council’s rejection of his elevation to the rank of Jedi Master wasn’t about status—it denied him what he believed could save Padme. Betrayed by those he trusted, Anakin turned to the Sith—not out of loyalty, but out of desperation.
Even as Darth Vader, the galaxy’s most feared enforcer, he remained a pawn. Palpatine never saw him as an equal, only as a tool to maintain power. Instead, he kept Vader confined, his potential crippled. The armor that sustained him also imprisoned him—trapping him in a cycle of pain and rage.
Anakin spent his life chasing mastery, only to find chains. The Jedi feared him, and the Sith used him. He only broke free when he rejected both—when he chose his own path, and his son. Which leaves us asking:
