Even though the chaebols contributed to the economic miracle of South Korea, their abuse of power, corruption, and their monopoly is met with public outrage.

In this nation of class divide and inequality, could these privileged mega-rich families be tamed to the public interest, or are the chaebols destined to dominate and threaten the South Korean society and democracy?
