Word of the Year or Intention Tile for 2025

This week I learned that my immunotherapy is not working, and I will have surgery next week to remove the cancerous part of my liver. I’m happy to have it out, and gratefully there was no other cancer seen in the CT scan. As I rested last night, I remembered a tile that hangs on a lamp next to my bed and one side shows a word of the year drawing. The class for that tile was by CZT Romi Marks, and here is her wonderful video:    • Zentangle Word Of The Year Class  

I had written these reminders around the outside of the drawing:
“The only thing that can hinder me is myself. The only thing that can help me is myself. Believe in myself. I can do this!” That’s so appropriate for my current state of mind! I think I created this tile in a class, but I don’t remember who taught it. I thought it would be a great time to update it as either a Word of the Year tile, or as an Intention tile for 2025. As always, you’re free to write or do what makes you happy for your tile. The Spiridon pattern by CZT Beth Gaughan that I used in the center was new on Tangle Patterns yesterday, December 6. I love grid patterns like this and it is fun and easy to draw. The petals on the outside are simply Flux by Zentangle, Inc.

Black Micron 01 pen or PN (or your choice of pens and colors)
Graphite pencil (any pencil should work)
Blending stump (tortillion)
Optional: Colored pens or pencils
