The Beach Boys- Live in Middleton, Fl (03/09/2025)

SO, last March, I was supposed to see the guys for what would’ve been the 6th/7th time at the Sharon Performing Arts Center. Right up until the week I was supposed to go see them, that’s when my body decided to get sick for the whole week. As tough of a decision as it was I decided it’d be best to stay home and not risk making myself worse, or getting other people sick. I spent the rest of the year hoping and praying they would do what they did back in 2023 and do a second round of Florida shows, but that didn’t happen unfortunately. But after waiting over year to finally see them again, I can truthfully say they still put on one hell of a show. It was great to see them again and they looked like they were enjoying themselves very much. Daniel, I guy I met and talked with before the first show, told me afterwards that Mike was actually battling a cold so that explained why his voice sounded rough going into the first show, but he definitely sounded much better during the second show. Everyone was in top form (as if that’s a surprise), and they included several songs I didn’t get to hear them do up until that point, mainly Don’t Back Down and You’re So Good To Me, which I absolutely loved. I’ll also add that the second show was the first time I got to fist bump Mike (which I tried and failed the first time I saw them), and I got my first setlist which is always great concert memorabilia. The thrill of going to a Beach Boys show never gets old, just ask any of the people who’ve seen them 80 plus times haha. Enjoy!
