Follow along with me as I paint a simple winter scene in watercolor. This is a very basic landscape to get started. Other elements can be added to the basic scene to create interest. I focused on a gradient wash for a soft sunrise sky, adding some trees in the distance and then creating some footprints in the foreground. You are welcome to add pine trees, a cabin, etc to make it your own.
Supplies:
100% cotton watercolor paper (Blue Pine Arts)
watercolor paints: Daniel Smith Quinacridone Rose, Quinacridone Gold, New Gamboge, Phthalo Blue Green Shade, Perylene Green, Winsor and Newton Sepia
Watercolor Brushes: Medium round (Polina Bright), liner brush.
