A MINI RETROSPECTIVE & Mash-up // Everybody knows Ooh Child but not many people know much about the group who recorded that soul/pop classic .Yes before The great & legendary Jackson 5 , The Stairsteps were known as The First Family Of Soul. I got a little impatient waiting for someone to give this group their due so I gathered what I could find on line and put together this mini retrospective. They had several incarnations including The Invisible Man's Band which scored well on the dance charts. I'm still on the lookout for footage of the family when they were on a show called SOUL hosted by Ellis Haizlip. Their dance steps at that point would've made the mighty Temptations sit up and take notice! PS/ If this video is successful I intend to do a part 2 and then perhaps another focusing on the PRE- BOOGIE FEVER - SYLVERS.
