this is the largest Catholic Church in the world it took 140 years to build but it is still not completed and is listed as a world cultural heritage it is also the number one tourist attraction in Spain the sagata Familia was built in 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026 when completed it will reach a height of 560 ft making it the tallest Church in the world the church has 18 towers and three facades Nativity facade on the east side the crucifixion facade on the West Side unfinished Glory facade on the South Side they symbolize the three stages of Jesus's life Gaudi was the genius designer of the sagata Familia he once said that straight lines belong to humans and curves belong to God so there are no straight lines or planes at all in the Sagrada Familia it is composed of a spiral conic parabola and a hyperbola the interior of the sagata Familia is equally stunning when you are in the church the sunlight shines through the round hole glass on the top of the church turning the sagada Familia into a kaleidoscope full of dreamy colors it is so beautiful have you been here
