Hosted by the legendary Mr. Magic — aka “Sir Juice” — and featuring a young Marley Marl on the decks, Rap Attack was the first-ever dedicated hip-hop radio show on a major commercial station. It wasn’t just groundbreaking — it was revolutionary.

Every Saturday night, Mr. Magic gave a voice to the streets, debuting raw, unfiltered tracks that captured the energy of New York’s boroughs. He introduced the world to the Juice Crew, spotlighted future icons like Big Daddy Kane, Roxanne Shanté, MC Shan, and Kool G Rap, and gave early spins to the music that would soon define a generation.
