And so the answer is clear. Or is it? Some people questioned the validity of the test. There should have been some bread with no garlic. People should have eaten something neutral in between. More testers were needed. Etc., etc.
In the meantime some people were convinced that one was more salty than the other (simply not true) – so what does that tell us about the quality of their taste-buds? And would badminton-players, rather than volleyballers, have given us a different result? In fact, are we any wiser at all?!
Either way, we will grow some more of both this autumn and be very happy to have lots of yummy garlic to share.
