Smart Agriculture: Basics
This video is intended to help high school and university teachers, agricultural instructors, and those actually involved in agriculture understand and teach smart agriculture.
It presents the challenges facing Japanese agriculture, such as population decline, an aging population, and environmental changes, and introduces the fundamental technologies of smart agriculture as solutions.
Specifically, the video provides detailed explanations and easy-to-understand illustrations of the fundamental technologies supporting smart agriculture, including GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), vehicle robots, the international standard ISOBUS, safety sensors, cloud-based databases, communications technology (especially 5G), machine vision, artificial intelligence (AI), and drones.
