We're diving into the vault this week and taking you way out into the desert! And if you thought we were simply sticking to the well-travelled French Line on this journey, you’d be wrong. From Birdsville we’re heading out to Poeppel’s corner, before heading cross country. That’s right, no tracks whatsoever! We’re going in search of the geographic centre of the Simpson Desert. And from there. We’ll attempt to go to Geosurvey’s Hill, before picking up the Madigan Line and driving into Alice Springs, the back way.
