Alert! This is a very special improvisation, played at Saint-Ouen, Rouen, France, with the famous organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll (1890). We were recording and filming Cesar Franck's Redemption (video starts with that), when an ambulance passed by the church (0:43). Kiviniemi stopped playing and I put the camera down to wait when it is quiet enough again to continue. But Kiviniemi did not wait, he started to improvise on spot from the tune of ambulance siren. Video is uncut, without additional footage. We want to share this extraordinary moment!
This video is specially prepared for Youtube. Audio was taken from high quality multi channel recording setup, not from video camera's built-in microphone. The better your computer's audio system and especially the speakers and the subwoofer are, the better is the sound. Video was filmed in Full HD, please enjoy the better picture quality that this offers (720p, 1080p). In 720p and 1080p versions audio quality is better.
