Dodge Dart Drag Car Alignment! Gorgeous 1970 Dodge Dart in for help. From Lucore Automotive

We are no stranger to classic cars obviously here at Lucore Automotive we also are VERY comfortable on the alignment rack making sure cars and trucks of all shapes and sizes track how they are supposed to! As racing season is finally upon us drag race cars are coming out our ears for suspension and alignment work! If you are familiar with the Street Race Channel C10 then you will have seen we sorted out Billy's front end and help him go fast and straight, well this new customer saw what we did for the SRC folks and brought is bad Mopar dragcar to do the same!

Unfortunately not all shops really understand what goes into a proper custom alignment, we see it constantly on vehicles brought to us from other shops. Just because a location has an alignment rack and an "alignment tech" doesn't necessarily mean they have the knowledge it takes for non factory setups. On a street car that's one thing, it can lead to wandering on the road or improper tire wear. On a RACECAR that's an entirely different issue and something we take very seriously. Quite literally the racer's life is on the line of the front end isn't set up properly.

So in this video we have a beautiful 1970 Dodge Dart that's been built over the years into a pretty serious drag car with a big block Mopar under the hood. Fortunately for us most of the factory original suspension and steering bits have been upgraded with more modern components and considerably better adjustability.

By the end of this process this 70s muscle car is in MUCH better shape and ready to really take some rips down the local drag strip. The fastest time you'll get is going in a straight line, and this little orange monster is going to go MUCH straighter!
